Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all Master Control Room operations.
- Ensure uninterrupted transmission of TV and Radio programs.
- Monitor broadcast signals, audio, video, and transmission quality.
- Coordinate program scheduling and ensure programs go on air at the scheduled time.
- Manage and supervise MCR operators and technical staff.
- Troubleshoot transmission issues and liaise with engineers for quick resolution.
- Maintain broadcast logs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure proper switching between live programs, recorded programs, and commercials.
- Implement standard operating procedures for broadcast continuity.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND/BSc in Broadcast Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Media Technology, or related field.
- 5–8 years experience in TV/Radio broadcast operations or Master Control Room management.
- Strong knowledge of broadcast automation systems, transmission equipment, and signal monitoring.
- Ability to manage technical teams and coordinate live broadcast operations.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
