Role Description
The Product Designer will be responsible for visual design, design thinking, user research, product design, and UX research as part of their day-to-day tasks.
Responsibilities
- We are seeking to engage a skilled UI/UX Product Designer to join our team to ensure seamless user experience across the software products, platforms and devices.
- The UI/UX Product Designer will be responsible for crafting exceptional user experiences and interfaces for our web/mobile application products. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test, intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered interfaces.
- You will be responsible for creating user-centered design solutions that meet customer needs and business goals including global digital standards.
- You will be responsible for developing an intuitive visually appealing, and accessible interface, ensuring seamless user experience across all platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams and interfacing with end users to ascertain areas of improvement.
- The UI/UX Product Designer will report to the Lead developer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Design or a similar field.
- Banking or Fintech experience is a must
- Minimum 3 years of proven work experience in UI/UX design.
- Portfolio showcasing your design and development work.
- Experience with design systems and style guides.
- Focusing attention to detail, ability to provide ideas to technical and nontechnical addresses, analytical thought, and teamwork spirit.
- Fluent in English (Excellent written and verbal communication skills)
- Ability to coordinate and balance priorities of multiple projects and deliverables.
- Experience in the financial sector will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and methodologies, human-centred design approaches, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
