Job Summary
- The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into high-quality, engaging video content that aligns with the company’s editorial direction and brand identity.
- The role requires strong storytelling skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced media and entertainment environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit video content for television programmes, digital platforms, social media, and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with producers, directors, and content creators to understand creative briefs and storytelling objectives.
- Select, cut, and sequence footage; add graphics, transitions, subtitles, and sound effects as required.
- Ensure colour correction, audio balancing, and overall visual consistency.
- Manage and organise raw footage, project files, and archived content.
- Meet strict production deadlines and respond promptly to feedback and revisions.
- Adapt content formats for different platforms (TV, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND with 3 - 6 years experience.
