JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensure that equipment for a shoot is present and working.
- Plan the shoot with the creative team.
- Edit footage in post-production.
- Direct other camera operators so that the needed footage is acquired.
- Reorder and fine-tune the content to ensure the video's logical sequencing and smooth running.
- Oversee the quality and progress of audio and video editing experiments with styles and techniques, including the design of graphic elements
- suggest or select music
- carry out online editing and also finalize technical aspects such as correcting faulty footage, grading, and coloring, and adding special effects.
Additional Requirement
- Knowledge in keying out chroma background.
- Knowledge of journalism is an added advantage
- Excellent computer literacy.
- Proficiency with editing software such as PhotoShop.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Relative fitness and stamina to work long hours.
- Proficiency with camera equipment.
