Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube shorts) and long-form content (interviews, tutorials, podcasts).
- Color grade and stylize footage to give it a professional, polished look.
- Add music, captions, sound effects, transitions, and visual elements to enhance storytelling.
- Repurpose long-form content into multiple short clips for different platforms.
- Stay on top of video trends and bring fresh, engaging editing styles to the table.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to meet content goals.
- Using motion graphics and light animations to enhance edits
- Manage deadlines and deliver video assets in agreed formats.
- Maintain organized project files and archives for easy access and retrieval
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on video editing experience.
- A strong portfolio showcasing both short-form and long-form projects.
- Proficiency in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut pro, or Davinci Resolve.
- Experience in creating content for social media platforms.
- Ability to tell your story through your edits; pacing, flow, emotion, and impact.
- Color grading and sound editing skills.
- Up-to-date with current TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram video trends.
- A stable, fast internet connection.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
