Job Summary
- We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team in Ikoyi.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and communication objectives.
- This role requires strong storytelling skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into compelling video content for digital platforms
- Cut, trim, and sequence clips to ensure smooth storytelling and flow
- Add music, sound effects, subtitles, and basic motion graphics where necessary
- Perform color correction and basic audio enhancement
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to execute creative ideas
- Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and meet deadlines
- Optimize videos for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others
- Organize and manage video assets and project files.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar software
- Basic knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics is an added advantage
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
- Ability to work fully onsite in Ikoyi
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to receive and implement feedback.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 – 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience editing content for social media and digital campaigns
- Basic knowledge of sound design and color grading.
