The School of Eloquence, a school where people are trained on the art and skills of public speaking, is planning a one-day skill enhancement program for members of the press, both electronic and print.
Responsibilities
Cameraman:
- Operate and maintain video cameras and related equipment.
- Capture high-quality footage for various programs and segments.
- Collaborate with the production team to plan and execute shoots.
- Ensure proper lighting, framing, and sound quality during shoots.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on set and perform necessary adjustments.
Video Editor:
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging content.
- Apply visual effects, transitions, and graphics to enhance video quality.
- Sync audio and video, ensuring high production standards.
- Work closely with producers and directors to achieve desired outcomes.
- Manage video files and maintain an organized workflow.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess OND / NCE / B.Sc Degrees with 2+ years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience as a Cameraman and Video Editor in a TV station or similar environment.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting, and sound techniques.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail and storytelling.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
