- As a Video Editor and Cinematographer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that aligns with our brand's vision and goals. You will have a unique opportunity to shape the visual storytelling aspect of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cinematography:Plan, set up, and execute video shoots, ensuring the highest quality of footage.
- Operate cameras, drones, and other equipment to capture cinematic shots.
- Select appropriate lighting and framing techniques to enhance visual storytelling.
- Video Editing:Edit raw footage into engaging, polished, and cohesive videos using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and motion design elements when necessary.
- Ensure color correction and audio enhancement for optimal quality.
- Storyboarding and Script Collaboration:Collaborate with creative teams to develop video concepts and storyboards.
- Contribute ideas for scripts and visual elements to enhance storytelling.
- Equipment Management:Maintain, organize, and ensure the proper functioning of video equipment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cinematography and editing technology.
- Project Management:Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project timelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including producers, directors, and post-production professionals.
- Quality Assurance:Review and quality-check final video content to ensure it meets brand standards and client requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor and Cinematographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and cinematic camera equipment.
- Strong understanding of cinematography principles, composition, and lighting techniques.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to enhance visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with audio editing and color correction is a plus.
