Job Summary
- We are looking for a talented and versatile Video & Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This role requires a balance of video editing expertise and graphic design excellence to create compelling, on-brand visuals across digital platforms. You’ll be responsible for bringing concepts to life in both motion and static formats; from videos and animations to graphics, ads, and social content.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Video Editing & Motion Graphics
- Edit high-quality video content for social media, web, campaigns, internal communications, and more.
- Create dynamic motion graphics, intros/outros, lower-thirds, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
- Source and edit audio, including music and voiceovers, to complement video content.
- Assist with occasional photography or on-site video shoots if required.
Graphic Design
- Design eye-catching static and animated assets including social media creatives, posters, ads, banners, and infographics.
- Develop visuals that align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all formats.
- Create assets optimised for different channels (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, print, and web).
- Collaboration & Project Management
- Work closely with content creators, marketers, and product teams to interpret briefs and deliver on creative direction.
- Manage multiple design and video projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Maintain organised file structures and version control of all creative assets.
- Stay updated on design and video trends, editing tools, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as both a video editor and a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing both skill sets.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong design fundamentals: typography, layout, colour, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to edit footage into compelling narratives with pacing, transitions, and effects.
- Experience adapting assets for various formats and screen sizes.
- Basic understanding of colour grading and audio mixing.
- Self-motivated, highly organised, and receptive to creative feedback.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with tools like Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Animate, Adobe Suites Softwares, Blender, or Canva.
- Knowledge of marketing funnels and how design and video drive engagement.
- Familiarity with brand development and visual identity systems.
- Basic photography or videography skills.
- Understanding of digital asset management systems.
Education & Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Multimedia Design, Film, Graphic Design, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in video editing and/or graphic design.
