Job Description
- We are seeking a Videographer and Video Editor who will be responsible for capturing high-quality video content and editing footage into polished, engaging visual storytelling.
- This role involves filming, editing, and producing videos for various purposes, including marketing, social media, corporate projects, events, and documentaries.
Responsibilities
- Operate video/still camerasand other equipment to capture high-quality footage.
- Plan and execute video shoots, including lighting, sound, and set design.
- Edit raw footage into compelling videos using editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, orAfter Effect.
- Add graphics, animations, special effects, and sound effects to enhance video content.
- Work with the marketing and content teams to develop creative video concepts.
- Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and storytelling objectives.
- Manage and organize video files and maintain an efficient post-production workflow.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies to improve video production quality.
- Handle color correction, audio enhancement, and other post-production tasks.
- Optimize videos for different platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and websites.
Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut).
- Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, and composition.
- Ability to operate different types of cameras and audio recording equipment.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation (After Effects is a plus).
- Strong storytelling and creative skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of video formats, compression, and exporting for different platforms.
- Basic understanding of sound design and music synchronization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field
- Certification in video editing or cinematography is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in videography and video editing.
- Portfolio of past video projects showcasing skills and creativity.
- Experience working in media, marketing, or production companies is an advantage.
- A creative mindset and passion for video production.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work on different types of projects, including travel when required.
- Strong portfolio showcasing videography and editing skills.
