JOB SUMMARY

BrandCo is seeking a talented and creative Photographer/Videographer to join our dynamic Marketing Team. This role is crucial in shaping the brand’s visual identity, capturing high-quality images and videos for social media, eCommerce, in-store promotions, and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, an understanding of brand aesthetics, and the ability to produce engaging visual content that enhances customer engagement and drives sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation for social media & eCommerce

  • Produce high-quality product photography and lifestyle content for Skechers Nigeria’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, X, YouTube, LinkedIn) and eCommerce website.
  • Create engaging short-form videos (e.g., reels, TikToks, behind-the-scenes, styling videos, promotional videos) to boost brand visibility.
  • Edit and enhance images and videos using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut.
  • Conceptualize, shoot, and edit seasonal campaigns, influencer collaborations, and brand marketing initiatives.

Store & Event Photography/Videography

  • Capture high-quality images and videos of Skechers stores, highlighting store ambiance, promotions, and customer interactions.
  • Cover all Skechers in-store activations, fashion collaborations, sponsorships, influencer events, and corporate events.
  • Ensure all event footage is edited and published in a timely manner to align with marketing campaigns.

Product Photography & Coordination with Buying & Merchandising Team

  • Work closely with the Buying & Merchandising Team to photograph all new stock arrivals for social media, eCommerce, and marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure consistent lighting, angles, and styling across all product images for a cohesive brand look.
  • Maintain an organized database of all product images and videos for future use.

Marketing & Campaign Support

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to create visuals for ad campaigns, website banners, billboards, email marketing, and print materials.
  • Work on brand collaborations, producing content for partnership activations.
  • Assist with the creation of visuals for influencer briefs to guide content direction.

Equipment & Workflow Management

  • Manage BrandCo’s photography and videography equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and care.
  • Develop an efficient workflow for editing, organizing, and archiving all media assets.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor\'s degree or certification in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in photography and videography, preferably within fashion, retail, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent editing software.
  • Experience in social media content creation and a deep understanding of trends, viral content, and brand aesthetics.
  • Strong knowledge of camera operations, lighting, composition, and video editing techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with strong storytelling skills to enhance Skechers\' brand identity.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Availability to travel for store shoots, marketing activations, and brand events when required.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

Content Output & Quality

  • Minimum of 50 high-quality product images per week.
  • Minimum of 8 video content pieces (reels, behind-the-scenes, influencer features) per week.
  • Consistent brand-aligned visual storytelling across all platforms.

Social Media Engagement & Growth

  • Increase in engagement rates on content (likes, shares, comments, saves).
  • Improvement in video views and watch time on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

E-Commerce Contribution

  • Increase in conversion rates from product photography on bcode website.

Event & Store Photography

  • All major BrandCo events and store activations covered with high-quality visuals.
  • Quick turnaround time for event recap videos and promotional edits.

Collaboration & Workflow Efficiency

  • Seamless coordination with Marketing, social media, Buying & Merchandising, and eCommerce Teams.
  • Well-organized content library for easy access and usage across departments.
