Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our post-production team. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content for our TV shows, films, live events, and digital media. This includes assembling footage, creating sequences, and fine-tuning the final product to meet artistic and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assemble footage and create sequences to tell compelling stories
  • Edit video content to meet artistic and technical standards
  • Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to ensure creative vision is met
  • Trim, cut, and arrange footage to create a cohesive narrative
  • Add visual effects, transitions, and music to enhance the final product
  • Mix and master audio to ensure optimal sound quality
  • Color grade and finalize video content for delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies in video editing

Requirements:

  • 25 years old and above
  • 2+ years of experience as a Video Editor or in a related role (e.g., assistant editor, post-production coordinator)
  • Strong knowledge of video editing software and techniques (e.g., Avid, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
  • Excellent creative and technical skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., film, television, digital media) preferred
  • Experience in a similar role at a broadcast network, production company, or studio
  • Knowledge of industry trends and developments in TV, film, and digital media
  • Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, and color grading
