Responsibilities

Web Applications Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications, websites, and related systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for web development projects.
  • Write clean and efficient code using programming languages and frameworks (e.g., HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, PHP, Python, RestAPI, NodeJS, MySQL, etc is an added advantage).
  • Ensure web applications are responsive, user-friendly, and secure.
  • Test and debug web applications to identify and resolve issues.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web development.

Help Desk Support:

  • Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Respond to help desk tickets, emails, and phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist users with password resets, account setup, and access issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues to higher-level support if necessary.
  • Educate end-users on software and system usage.
  • Maintain documentation of common issues and resolutions for future reference.
  • Participate in on-call support as needed to address urgent technical issues.

System Maintenance:

  • Monitor and maintain web servers, databases, and other infrastructure related to web applications.
  • Implement security updates, patches, and backups to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to optimize web application performance.

Communication and Training:

  • Communicate effectively with end-users, explaining technical concepts in non-technical language.
  • Conduct training sessions or create user guides to empower end-users to resolve common issues independently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science / Engineering, or IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in web development technologies and programming languages.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Interest in learning new technologies
