About the Role
- As a Junior Website Content Creator at Macpeniel, you will be instrumental in building engaging websites for our clients using our intuitive, no-code website builder. Leveraging a variety of templates, your focus will be on creating compelling textual and visual content that effectively communicates our clients' messages and brands.
- You will also have the opportunity to contribute to other content creation needs, such as blog articles, as business demands evolve. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a flexible and supportive remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Build complete websites for clients using Macpeniel's no-code website builder and available templates.
- Create engaging and effective website copy that aligns with client objectives and target audiences.
- Design and source visually appealing graphics and images to enhance website content.
- Ensure all website content is accurate, well-organized, and optimized for user experience.
- As required, create other forms of content such as informative and engaging blog articles.
- Adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the team in a remote setting.
Qualifications and Skills
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 2 - 5 years work experience.
- Strong website copywriting skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and persuasive content.
- Solid graphics design skills and familiarity with design principles.
- Familiarity with basic web building concepts such as CSS and HTML (understanding how they influence design and content presentation, even without direct coding).
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with the team.
- A portfolio or examples of previous writing or design work (even personal projects) is a plus.
