Job Description
- We are currently seeking to engage a seasoned Application Engineer/System Integrator with extensive industry experience within the Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Mining, Oil, and Gas sectors, who will work with various clients to provide engineering advice and technical solutions on different projects.
- This job involves a range of tasks, including coordinating teams, preparing documentation, developing project plans, training, software installation, and sales. Experience with the use of any of the software is a must AVEVA, Bentley, and Autodesk solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Explore, identify, and analyze clients’ needs, and contribute to the translation of the client’s needs into a correctly scoped and commercially viable, and profitable project. Manage project timelines and oversee all developments.
Software Sales/Installation/Training:
- Support the sales of all of Lonadek’s Engineering Software
- Coordinate the installation and after-sales support for all AVEVA, Bentley, and Autodesk Software
Plan Technical Solutions:
- Assess projects for technical issues by finding unique ways to resolve them without affecting the overall completion deadline or affecting the involvement from other streams or external companies.
Build Relationships with Clients:
- Meet with clients to create a good rapport with them for a clear understanding of their requirements and provide accurate solutions, as well as to provide them with progress updates.
Organise Project Logistics:
- Manage and organise the logistics of projects. Analyse processes in place and identify areas that can be improved or find solutions to issues as they arise.
Prepare Documentation:
- Responsible for creating documents and reports that detail their assessments, any factfinding survey data acquired, the project’s inception, and concept planning.
Requirements
- Educational background in Engineering, Technology, or allied discipline is required.
- An MBA or Advanced Degree in Business, Management, and Leadership would be an added advantage.
- Proficient in different Engineering Software and I.T solutions
- Relevant exposure within the Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Mining, Oil and Gas sectors is required.
- Minimum of 10 Years Post Qualification Experience
- Membership of a relevant professional body e.g., NSE, NAE, ACEN
- Strong Analytical Mind, Attention to Detail, Good Communication Skills.
- Must be a good Trainer.
- Must display a high level of professionalism and discipline
