About the job

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding the goals of our clients and be able to oversee creative project strategy to project completion. By having a knowledge of emerging technologies in the area, this candidate will be able create cross-channel deliverables to clients that meet their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Generate clear ideas and concepts in tandem with other members of the creative team.
  • Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience.
  • Manage and supervise multiple projects within the agency.
  • Take work from concept to ?nal execution within deadlines.
  • Present completed ideas to client/team members.
  • Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices in design, video and content production.
  • Integrate technical and visual solutions into a creative concept
  • Understand trends within the scope of client’s industry.
  • Review and ensure output is visually appealing, functional in the market place and on brand.
  • Where instructed, evaluate creative performance and guide improvements.
  • Offer fresh, interesting creative ideas to clients.
  • Manage multiple projects, with the ability to switch from one to the other seamlessly
  • Meet deadlines and stay within budget constraints
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of campaign objectives and devise strategies to achieve them
  • Participate actively in brainstorming meetings and drive creative sessions.
  • Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging per project.
  • Strong conceptual, graphic design, type, and page layout skills for projects ranging from print to interactive to broadcast.
  • Lead presentations and effectively communicate a creative vision

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in visual communications or other related fields
  • At least 4 years' of digital and print design or advertising experience
  • Knowledge of social platforms (Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Breadth of style and design capability
  • ARCON Certification is an added advantage

Skills Required

  • Strong conceptual, graphic design, type, and page layout skills for projects ranging from print to interactive to broadcast.
  • Pro?ciency with required tools in line with field of practice.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to present creative work internally and to clients.
  • Ability to collaborate with copywriters and graphic designers.
  • Ability to collect and interpret feedback.
  • A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives.
  • Ability to critically communicate and persuade around design concepts.
  • Dynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiences.
