As an Artist Relations Manager, you will play a crucial role in curating and managing musical talent for our client projects. You are required to ensure that talents adhere to their contracts.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, creative teams, and directors to understand their musical preferences and project objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with music talent, ensuring agreements are favourable and align with project budgets.
- Manage and maintain records of talent contracts and agreements.
- Secure necessary licenses and rights for music usage, including synchronization rights and royalty agreements.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure music selections align with brand identity and project goals.
- Communicate project needs and musical direction to talent effectively.
- Monitor project budgets related to talent management.
- Identify opportunities for cost-effective solutions while maintaining the quality of music.
- Client liaison on talent-related briefs
- Represents client in talent-related conversations
- Ensure Talent agreement with the client is adhered to
- Manage Talents execution of clients' briefs/requests
- Enforce client's best interests with Talent deliverable
- Foster positive relationships with music talent, ensuring a professional and collaborative environment.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and support to talent as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in artiste management and talent representation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the music industry and current trends
