Role Overview

  • The Assistant Engineer will support the engineering team in the development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions. This role is ideal for a technically inclined professional looking to grow their skills while contributing to building secure and efficient systems in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coding, testing, debugging, and deploying software applications.
  • Work with senior engineers to implement features and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain and update existing software systems to improve functionality and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Document technical processes and solutions for internal reference.
  • Support the integration of APIs and third-party systems.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Research and suggest improvements in tools, technologies, and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in software development or a related role.
  • Basic knowledge of backend and frontend development technologies.
  • Familiarity with databases, APIs, and cloud-based applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
