To Carry Out Your Role…

  • Develop and implement brand strategies that effectively communicate PressOne Africa’s value proposition to customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials, reinforcing our brand identity.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer preferences and trends, using insights to inform brand strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Monitor brand performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve brand health and equity.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A strategic brand builder with a deep understanding of brand management (a minimum of 8 years of experience in brand management).
  • You're a creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative brand strategies and campaigns.
  • Excellent storytelling skills – you can craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with market research techniques and brand performance analysis.
  • Strong project management skills and an eagerness to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Your Key Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Brand Strategies:

  • Lead the development and execution of brand strategies that effectively communicate our value proposition to customers and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels and marketing materials.

Vision Articulation and Promotion:

  • Work closely with the CEO to understand and articulate the company’s vision and strategic goals.
  • Promote this vision through storytelling and creative content that resonates with internal and external audiences.

Product Marketing:

  • Work closely with the product team to understand our product roadmap and develop messaging that highlights key features and benefits.
  • Create marketing materials and campaigns to support product launches and updates.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Market Research and Audience Insights:

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences, using insights to inform communication strategies.
  • Analyse brand performance metrics to optimise campaigns and messaging.

Internal Branding and Employee Engagement:

  • Support internal communication efforts to foster a strong company culture and align employees with the brand’s mission and values.
  • Develop initiatives that highlight and promote our core values of customer obsession, ownership, and management autonomy.
  • Collaborate with HR to create programs that promote team cohesion and engagement.

Your Importance as a Brand Manager

  • As the Brand Manager, you are the steward of PressOne Africa's brand identity. By crafting compelling narratives and executing strategic campaigns, you'll directly influence how we are perceived in the market and help drive the company’s growth and success.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across multiple channels and touch-points.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or corporate communications.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with market research and data analysis.
  • Passion for building strong brand identities and engaging customer experiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
