ROLE SUMMARY
- We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with 8 years of corporate and wholesale banking with a strong track record of analysing business processes, identify improvements, and provide data-driven insights for decision-making. The role involves working closely with the MD/CEO and the CTO and collaborating with various departments to implement solutions that align with organizational goals. Strong analytical, communication, and industry knowledge are essential for driving growth and efficiency.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyse and document business processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements.
- Perform data analysis and identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop solutions and recommendations to streamline operations and enhance performance.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present insights to leadership.
- Assist in project management by ensuring solutions meet business needs and timelines.
- Monitor and track the success of implemented changes and adjustments.
- Work with IT and project teams to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
- Conduct financial modelling, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to support business growth initiatives.
- Maintain a strong understanding of corporate wholesale banking, cash management, trade finance, and treasury operations to provide relevant insights and recommendations.
- Leverage domain knowledge to inform strategic initiatives, improve operational processes, and enhance service delivery within the organization.
- Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and provide data-driven insights to executive leadership.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND PERSON REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 8 years proven experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of project management principles is a plus.
