Job Summary:

  • The Business Analyst (Business Plan Writer) will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing comprehensive business plans.
  • This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, create detailed business documentation, and provide insights that drive strategic decision-making.
  • A key focus will be on writing business plans for organizational setup documents specifically for NGOs.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Develop process models, use cases, and other business analysis documentation.

Business Planning:

  • Develop detailed and well-structured business plans that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to support business planning efforts.
  • Provide financial projections, risk assessments, and feasibility studies as part of the business planning process.
  • Write business plans for organizational setup documents specifically for NGOs.

Project Management:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of business plans.
  • Monitor project progress and report on key metrics and milestones.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and present findings.
  • Communicate complex concepts and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Create clear, concise, and comprehensive business documentation, including business plans, reports, and presentations.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project status and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in writing detailed and effective business plans, particularly for organizational setup documents for NGOs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, CRM software) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience in [specific industry or sector relevant to the company].
  • Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
