Role Overview
Arya Marketplace is building a B2B platform to connect West Africa’s informal manufacturers and traders to cross-border buyers. We are hiring a Buyer Acquisition & Growth Marketing Specialist (Full-Stack) — a hybrid role that combines buyer acquisition strategy, digital marketing execution, and hands-on content creation.
This is a startup-critical position where you’ll own the entire buyer funnel: from Ad campaigns → Content Creation → WhatsApp engagement → Transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Buyer Acquisition
- Design and manage WhatsApp-based onboarding funnels to recruit and manage buyer groups.
- Collaborate with agents and partners to identify retailer/reseller clusters in Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, and Togo.
- Develop country playbooks for buyer acquisition, onboarding, and repeat purchase growth.
- Profile sellers, showcase products, and build trust with buyers through testimonials and transparent communication.
Digital Marketing
- Run and optimize campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Google.
- Manage email, WhatsApp, and SMS automation flows for lead nurturing.
- Track CAC, ROI, and conversion rates, reporting weekly in simple dashboards.
- Localize marketing messages across English and French markets.
Content Creation
- Create and publish content — posts, videos, reels, and stories — using tools like Canva, CapCut, or by managing freelancers.
- Capture and share Aba-made products, seller stories, and buyer success cases.
- Adapt creative for both brand-building (awareness) and conversion (sales) campaigns.
Key Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in growth marketing, digital campaigns, or B2B sales acquisition (preferably in trade/e-commerce).
- Proven ability to design funnels and run ads that convert buyers.
- Hands-on content creation skills (visuals, short-form video, copywriting).
- Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, WhatsApp Business, Canva, Mailchimp, Analytical Tools.
- Deep understanding of SME buyer psychology in West Africa.
- Fluent in English; French proficiency or experience managing French-language ads is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup with limited resources.
Ideal Background

- Track record of growing buyer/user bases in emerging markets.
- Familiarity with West African retail and wholesale trading ecosystems.
