Position Overview
- Our Client is seeking an experienced and certified Data Protection Officer (DPO) to lead our Technical Operations and deliver high-impact compliance solutions across sectors.
- You will drive strategy, lead audits, liaise with the NDPC, manage data breach response, and support clients in embedding data privacy best practices.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead all technical compliance operations and service delivery.
- Conduct data protection impact assessments, gap analysis, and audits.
- Develop privacy governance frameworks and policies for clients.
- Guide breach response, reporting, and mitigation efforts.
- Represent The Rainbow Strategy in regulatory, technical, and stakeholder engagements.
- Supervise compliance consultants and technical advisors.
- Facilitate client training and public education on data protection.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Information Security, or related field.
- NDPC-recognised DPO certification (mandatory).
- At least 5 years’ experience in data protection, legal compliance, or IT governance.
- Preferred: CIPM, CIPP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent.
- Sound knowledge of the NDPA 2023, NDPR, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks.
