Essential Duties / Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead in managing an updated communication strategy
- Developing, writing, and editing communications and marketing materials (blog posts, social media content, press releases, speeches)
- Conduct surveys or contact people of the target audience to understand their views
- Prepare reports for the management team, including recommendations to ensure a more positive attitude
- Promote communications and marketing materials through social media
- Regularly meet and arrange interviews with media personnel
- Develop working relationships with journalists in different types of media outlets
- Ensure that all marketing and communications material align with the brand’s standards
- Maintain digital media archives (photos, videos)
- Act as a spokesperson for the brand
- Prepare and manage the organization’s budget regarding communication
- Arrange news conferences for essential announcements
- Perform media outreach to make the brand part of their publication
- Work closely with marketing and product managers, designers, and website managers to collect information
- Carry any other activities or task as assignment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years professional work experience in NGO will be preferred and an added advantage
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good networking Leadership skills
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- Knowledge of the associated Press style guide
- Fluency in English language is essential
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong critical thinking skills, ability to solve problems and resourcefulness
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
- Dynamic and Fast learner with passion and curiosity
- A dynamic personality with an eye for details and innovative
- Strong computer skill in MS Office Suite is required
- Understand cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality, and age sensitivity and adaptability of state.
