Job Summary
- The position holder will be responsible for managing the personal brand and thought leadership of a high-profile executive in the financial and impact investing sector. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with expertise in crafting compelling narratives, managing high-visibility content, and maintaining a strong media presence.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and manage executive thought leadership content, including op-eds, articles, speeches, blog posts, and social media updates.
- Create and refine key messages, talking points, and presentation materials for interviews, speeches, and stakeholder engagements.
- Ensure a consistent and compelling narrative that aligns with the executive’s brand, values, and business objectives.
- Collaborate with the firm's communication team where necessary to align messaging, strategy, and public engagements.
- Develop and implement a social media strategy to enhance the executive’s presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
- Create engaging, platform-specific content aligned with industry trends and target audiences.
- Monitor social media engagement and media mentions, responding strategically to enhance visibility and influence.
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists, editors, and industry influencers to maximise media opportunities.
- Secure and manage media appearances, interviews, and podcast opportunities for the executive.
- Identify and coordinate high-impact speaking engagements, panels, and conferences.
- Manage event logistics, including briefing materials, scheduling, participation, and post-event content amplification.
- Oversee communications projects from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and brand positioning.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Marketing, or a related field.
- A master’s degree in a relevant field, will be an added advantage
- A portfolio of past work, including articles, speeches, social media campaigns, or media features, is required.
Knowledge, Skills And Experiences
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in communications, media relations, public relations, or content strategy.
- Proven experience managing personal branding for executives, industry leaders, or high-profile professionals.
- A proactive self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently to drive brand visibility.
- Strong background in social media management, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
- Expertise in crafting high-impact speeches, thought leadership content, and op-eds with an exceptional writing ability.
- A creative thinker with the ability to develop compelling and original content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of media relations, public engagement, and digital communication trends.
- Ability to develop and execute social media strategies that enhance visibility and engagement.
- Proficiency in content management systems, digital analytics tools, and media monitoring platforms.
- Strong event coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A keen eye for detail, brand consistency, and strategic messaging.
