As an online marketplace, we give restaurants the opportunity to buy everything they need remotely and seamlessly from anywhere in the world.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager who will develop and execute strategies to engage with our community, foster meaningful relationships, and drive participation in our programs and initiatives. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of community-building principles.

Job Details

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy aligned with Vendease’s goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community members, partners, volunteers, and investors.
  • Plan and execute events, workshops, and activities to engage with the community online and offline.
  • Create and curate content for social media channels, newsletters, and other communication platforms to keep the community informed and engaged.
  • Act as a liaison between Vendease and its community, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure community feedback and insights are integrated into decision-making processes and program development.
  • Monitor and analyse engagement metrics to measure the effectiveness of community initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in community engagement and incorporate innovative ideas into strategy development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field. (Preferred)
  • Proven experience in community engagement, social media management, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience planning and executing events or community programs.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems.
  • Passion for community building and a genuine interest in making a positive impact.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and community activities.
  • Ability to travel locally for events and meetings.
