Role Overview

  • We are looking for a passionate, self-driven Community & Social Media Manager to lead our community engagement, social voice, and brand narrative. This role goes beyond social media—it’s about owning how Sproutly is perceived by families, schools, and stakeholders across Nigeria and beyond.
  • We are also looking for an exceptional writer, digital storyteller, creative thinker, and a confident public presence.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Events

  • Build, nurture, and grow Sproutly’s online and offline community (families, schools, educators, partners).
  • Plan and chair branded events—workshops, town halls, school roadshows, etc.
  • Represent Sproutly in webinars, community activations, panel discussions, and public forums.
  • Host and produce creative content series: talk shows, Instagram Lives, webinars, Twitter Spaces, etc.

Social Media & Content Strategy

  • Develop and manage a compelling content calendar across all platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Lead daily social media engagement and oversee performance insights.
  • Run organic and paid digital campaigns for product launches, impact stories, and key brand moments.

Digital Marketing & Promotions

  • Create, manage, and measure the success of digital campaigns and social promotions.
  • Evaluate and process external promotion and sponsorship requests.
  • Make fast, effective decisions on promotional collaborations and partnerships aligned with brand goals.

Writing & Content Development

  • Write original blogs, newsletters, thought-leadership articles, press releases, and email campaigns.
  • Turn product updates, case studies, and impact reports into compelling stories.
  • Collaborate with designers and marketing team to develop creative content assets.

Strategic Communication

  • Build Sproutly’s brand narrative through proactive storytelling and consistent voice.
  • Prepare talking points and content briefs for founders and partners ahead of speaking engagements.
  • Monitor trends in education, fintech, and community engagement for relevant storytelling.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in social media management, community engagement, or content marketing roles.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills—confident in long-form and social media writing.
  • Experience planning and executing digital marketing and paid social campaigns.
  • Ability to lead online and offline events, with strong public speaking and hosting abilities.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills; you thrive under multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter attitude with fast decision-making instincts and emotional intelligence.
  • Previous experience in education, fintech, or social impact sectors is a strong plus.
  • Bonus: Video editing, Canva, Adobe Suite, podcast hosting, or livestream production skills.
