'CcHUB is Nigeria’s first open living lab and pre-incubation space designed to be a multi-functional, multi-purpose space where work to catalyze creative social tech ventures take place. The HUB is a place for technologists, social entrepreneurs, government, tech companies, impact investors and hackers in and around Lagos to co-create new solutions to the many social problems in Nigeria. CcHub functions at the heart of Nigeria’s technology innovation ecosystem as a place to: facilitate creative thinking and collaborative problem solving encourage technology innovation for improved social accountability in Nigeria incubate novel tech ideas that promotes good governance/provision of public services encourage shared accountability between technologist & innovators serve as a living lab for prototyping and testing socially minded tech tools build new skills and competencies connect, share, create and find expertise The Hub act as a cushy nest designed to accelerate the successful development of social tech ventures through an array of business support resources and services, developed and orchestrated by the hub management and offered both in the space and through our network of partners. In addition, the hub leads co-creation initiatives aimed at creating novel technologically driven solutions to the myriad social challenges facing the average Nigerian. The Hub also network stakeholders from diverse walks of life to create these solutions and also encourage social accountability through social creativity activating knowledge networks harnessing resources and imagination across society not just within public service professions and institutions
The Safe Online with Meta Campaign focuses on three pillars;
- The Digital Literacy Community of Practice (COP): A virtual community of cybersecurity and online safety experts and enthusiasts curated to leverage the power of groups, networks and communities to amplify the Safe Online with Meta Campaign on safe and responsible use of the internet.
- The Campus Ambassadors Programme: this component of the programme targets undergraduates in higher education institutions, empowering them with digital skills and online safety skills through various activation and training programmes.
- Dignified: provides digital literacy and online safety training to senior citizens aged 50 and above both physically and virtually.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Stakeholder mapping of 50 relevant organisations to be onboarded to the Digital Literacy Community of Practice (COP).
- Identify and implement relevant activation programmes for the selected organisations togive the decision-makers an idea of what the COP is about and its benefit to them.
- Work with the Project Manager and Monitoring and Evaluation Team to design and disseminate surveys from the COP.
- Work with the Learning Development team to facilitate train-the-trainer sessions for COP member organisations.
- Design and implement an engagement calendar for the virtual COP.
- Identify focus activities for the various groups in the COP and liaise with the Learning Development Team to curate specific engagement plans.
- Submit a weekly and monthly engagement report detailing training for organisations in your portfolio, outputs and outcomes of COP engagement and other duties assigned by the programme manager.
Qualifications
To ensure we onboard the right fit of educators for this campaign;
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., education, marketing, communications).
- Strong communication, organisational, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms and knowledge of digital literacy and technology trends.
- Individuals with a strong influence among young people and organisations with access to or affiliation with professional communities.
