Job Description
- We are seeking a talented and creative Content and Copywriting Associate to join our dynamic team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling content that enhances our brand presence, engages our audience, and drives business growth.
- You will work in the marketing team to develop and execute content strategies that align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Develop and produce engaging content, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, and social media posts that resonate with our B2B and B2C audiences.
- Craft compelling copy for marketing campaigns, email newsletters, websites, and other digital platforms.
Content Strategy and Planning:
- Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the marketing and business development goals.
- Plan and manage a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
Social Media Management:
- Manage Renda Africa’s social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Prepare and schedule social media content tailored to the target audience’s preferences and behaviors.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments, and monitor social media interactions to foster community engagement and drive leads.
SEO and Keyword Optimization:
- Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve organic search rankings.
- Conduct keyword research and incorporate relevant keywords into the content.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with the Marketing & Communications Head to ensure content supports digital marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Product, Growth & Operation teams to align content efforts with overall marketing strategies and business objectives.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations to optimize future content.
- Report on content KPIs and contribute to marketing performance reviews.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in content creation, content marketing and social media management
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience in content creation and copywriting, preferably within the logistics or e-commerce industry.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and social media best practices.
- Ability to create compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.
- Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
