Role Overview
- The Content Creator & Social Media Manager will play a hands-on role in executing digital media strategies, producing high-quality visual and written content, and ensuring a consistent online presence for a QSR & Confectionary brand.
- This role is ideal for a highly creative and technically skilled individual who thrives in content production, video editing, and social media storytelling.
- Working closely with the Brand Manager, you will contribute to engaging content that strengthens the brands’ online presence and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Production:
- Shoot and edit video content for social media, YouTube, including product shoots, Outlet activities, BTS process videos, event highlights, and storytelling pieces.
- Create engaging short-form videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) optimized for different platforms.
- Film a variety of content, including product showcases, outlet activities, behind-the-scenes (BTS) process videos, event highlights, and brand storytelling pieces.
- Ensure videos are optimized for different formats, such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Stories, and LinkedIn videos.
- Utilize motion graphics, transitions, and effects to enhance video engagement.
- Maintain a consistent visual aesthetic aligned with the brand’s identity.
- Write compelling copy for social media captions and video descriptions.
- Develop strong hooks and CTAs (Call-To-Actions) to drive engagement, shares, and conversions.
- Adapt content for different audience segments while maintaining brand voice and tone.
- Operate and maintain professional camera equipment, lighting, microphones, and editing software.
- Organize and manage a digital content library for repurposing and archiving footage.
- Ensure all content meets quality standards, copyright regulations, and brand guidelines.
Social Media Platform Management:
- Maintain a consistent content posting schedule across all platforms, ensuring timely and relevant updates.
- Assist with live streaming of services and events, troubleshooting technical issues when necessary.
- Manage digital asset organization to ensure easy access to content libraries and archives.
- Monitor social media engagement, responding to comments/messages in alignment with the company’s voice and values.
- Track performance metrics and collaborate with the Digital Marketing Lead to refine content strategies.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in content creation, digital media, or related fields.
- Experience in the QSR, food, or lifestyle industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, CapCut).
- Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or Figma.
- Proven ability to create engaging social media content, including short-form videos.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills for digital platforms.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- The portfolio required showcasing content creation skills (video, design, and writing).
