The DC Talent Agency Internship Program allows current students and recent graduates to gain relevant work experience in the music and entertainment industry. Interns at DCTA work alongside experienced executives on a variety of international projects. You will be exposed to a wide variety of entertainment business practices, content creation tools, and artist relations techniques.

What you’ll do

Develop content ideas for DCTA’s social media channels, including but not limited to

  • Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Help tell DCTA’s story in the social space, including work with Artists, Creators, and brands maintaining an appropriate, unique, and consistent voice, tone, and point of view.
  • Create content plans and calendars, and implement processes to execute the plans.
  • Manage the process of creating original visual content, including graphics and videos, and contribute to producing assets as needed.
  • Generate analytics reports on the performance of the channels, share findings with internal teams, and make suggestions based on this analysis.
  • Support the development and execution of global social media strategies for our leading talent clients.
  • Create a monthly social media newsletter sharing the latest trends and tips for growth across all social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with wider marketing and Talent teams, to drive new marketing ideas and ensure brand consistency.

Minimum Role Criteria

  • Experience in content creation within the music or creative industries.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and trends.
  • Familiarity with design and video editing tools.
  • Knowledge of the music industry and influencer industry.
  • Ability to work independently.
