Role Overview

  • Planet Media is looking for a dynamic and versatile Content Lead & Growth Marketer to lead the charge in creating engaging, niche-focused content and driving audience growth for our meme pages and client campaigns.
  • This role combines the creativity of a content strategist with the analytical mindset of a growth marketer, ensuring that our content captivates, engages, and expands our target audience.
  • As the business grows, this role will lay the foundation for scaling our content, marketing, and sales efforts across additional niches.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation and Strategy:

  • Develop a comprehensive content strategy for meme pages, aligned with brand goals.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging, viral, and niche-specific content, including memes, videos, and graphics.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, and branding across all content.
  • Collaborate with freelance designers, video editors, content curators and other creatives as needed.

Growth Marketing:

  • Execute strategies to grow page followers, engagement, and audience reach organically and through paid ads.
  • Leverage AI tools and analytics platforms to optimize content performance and understand audience behavior.
  • Experiment with new content formats, posting schedules, and community engagement tactics.
  • Stay updated on trends and industry best practices to keep our strategies cutting-edge.

Analytics and Optimization:

  • Track and report key performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Use data to identify growth opportunities and improve content and marketing strategies.
  • Conduct A/B tests on campaigns to refine audience targeting and ad performance.

Offline Marketing and Sales Integration (Future Responsibility):

  • Develop offline marketing campaigns and partnerships to promote the brand and its content.
  • Coordinate sales strategies with the eventual sales team to align marketing efforts with client acquisition.

Collaboration and Team Development:

  • Work closely with the Founder/CEO to align content and growth strategies with business goals.
  • Lay the groundwork for hiring and managing specialized team members as the company expands.
  • Lead the recruitment of the content curation and production teams
  • Foster relationships with influencers and partners to amplify content distribution.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Monthly follower and engagement growth on meme pages.
  • ROI on paid ad campaigns.
  • Number of viral content pieces produced monthly.
  • Traffic and leads generated for client campaigns.
  • Successful testing of new content formats and strategies.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees
  • Experience: 3 - 5 years in social media marketing, content strategy, or growth marketing.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in social media tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite).
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics and AI-based marketing tools.
  • Knowledge of paid ad platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Ads).

Creative Skills:

  • Strong understanding of meme culture and viral content creation.
  • Ability to guide designers and video editors to produce high-quality content.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and leadership abilities.
  • A data-driven mindset with a passion for experimentation and innovation.
