Microvest is recruiting a Content Marketing and Media Officer to manage Mi Social and other Microvest social platforms through content creation and community engagement.
The ideal candidate will:
- Take ownership of MiSocial platform growth and strategies.
- Drive user adoption for MiSocial through creative content creation and Blogging.
- Ensure an organic and high growth in followership, engagements and interactions within the community
- Measure, track and report performance trends on MiSocial activities.
- Respond to direct messages, mentions and comments on MiSocial and other platforms
- Develop and execute a content strategy that supports Microvest marketing objectives and drives engagement.
- Create and manage online contents on MiSocial and other social media platforms, with Newsletters.
- Create and review contents for website and mobile App, such as new features/product updates, etc.
- Create and maintain a month-to-month content calendar for the all the social media platforms.
- Collaborate with the Media/ Marketing team on script writing for media, copies including email contents, press releases and communication materials.
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
- Optimize content for search engines to improve rankings and visibility.
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance and make data-driven adjustments to improve results.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and implement the overall digital marketing strategy
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to build inbound marketing channels for leads generation, targeting and conversion
- Attend in person events (offline & online) to represent the company in conferences, networking events, talks, seminars, etc.
- Participates in meetings and training as required
- Maintains complete confidentiality of all company information at all times
- Any other tasks as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a content writer and SEO specialist, with a portfolio of published content. (Previous experience with a fintech would be an added advantage)
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to create engaging and informative content that aligns with our brand voice.
- Strong research skills and the ability to quickly understand complex topics.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
