Job Summary:

  • We are looking for a talented and creative Content Strategist with strong graphic design and video editing skills to join our team at Solar Depot NG, a leading solar energy solutions provider in Nigeria. This role will focus on creating visually compelling and engaging content for YouTube, social media, and other digital platforms.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, and the ability to produce high-quality graphics and videos that educate, engage, and convert our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and targets key audiences.
  • Research industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify content opportunities.
  • Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent publishing across all platforms.
  • Design visually appealing graphics for social media posts, website banners, infographics, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Create branded templates and assets that maintain consistency across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design visuals for campaigns, events, and product launches.
  • Produce and edit engaging video content for YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms.
  • Create various video content, including product demos, customer testimonials, educational tutorials, and behind-the-scenes footage.
  • Manage the company’s social media accounts by creating and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring performance.
  • Develop social media campaigns that leverage graphic and video content to drive engagement and generate leads.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of graphic and video content using tools like Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics, and social media insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Film Production, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, graphic design, and video editing, preferably in the B2B industry.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Expertise in video editing software (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design and video editing work.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
