Role Description

  • We are looking for a Content Strategy Intern to join our team for a six-month paid internship. This is a full-time, hybrid role primarily based in Lagos, with the flexibility to work remotely.
  • As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in content strategy and digital marketing, working closely with our core team to manage digital marketing services for our clients.
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to real client projects, enhancing your skills and preparing you for a potential full-time role as a Digital Marketing Assistant, Content Coordinator, or Content Strategist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist account leads in developing monthly content strategies.
  • Prepare decks and presentations for internal and client use.
  • Conduct thorough market and industry research.
  • Generate blog topics and email marketing ideas.
  • Develop frameworks for marketing campaigns.
  • Create pitches to be presented to clients.
  • Participate in content creation and strategy meetings.
  • Engage in a lot of research and preparation to support various marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Produce website and social media content
  • Complete other administrative tasks as needed
  • Stay updated on new social media channels, trends, and proactively identify content opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong writing skills with an ability to craft compelling content.
  • Analytical skills to assess market trends and campaign performance.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Previous corporate or internship experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media scheduling tools, CMS).
  • Must own a laptop
  • Must own an iPhone (preferred)
  • Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation skills
  • Digital Marketing and Marketing skills
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Ability to analyze data and draw insights
  • Creativity and a passion for digital marketing
  • Experience with social media platforms and analytics tools
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles is a plus
  • Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
