Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative is a non-governmental non-profit organization focused on creating awareness of mental health and illnesses in Nigeria. We provide support to service users as well as affording easier access to mental health facilities and professionals in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Create, improve, and maintain engaging content to promote a positive image of the organisation.
- Drive brand awareness by being involved in all stages of the communication process from concept to message development to result-oriented evaluation.
- Monitors, reviews, and analyzes comments and conversations on MANI's social media
- Managing the organisation's social media visibility, and reviewing social media campaigns.
- Track analytics and create reports detailing successes and failures of communications campaigns and social media posts
- Create engagement on all of MANI's social media platforms
- Liaise with content volunteers to ensure brand consistency
- Work with communications team members to conceptualize and implement communications strategies and campaigns
- Advocate for mental health awareness through creative and impactful storytelling.
Qualifications
- BSc. A bachelor's degree in Communication, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a content officer, or a similar role, preferably within the non-profit or advocacy sector.
- Excellent knowledge of content creation.
- Ability to effectively use a variety of social media platforms and Analytic tools.
- Analytical and multitasking skills.
- Strong understanding of mental health issues, advocacy, and related terminologies.
- Computer Literate: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Word Press
