Job Summary
- The Computer Hardware Content Creator is responsible for developing high-quality, engaging, and informative content related to computer hardware products, technologies, and trends.
- This includes creating blog articles, product reviews, social media posts, videos, graphics, and other multimedia content aimed at promoting the company’s products and educating customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Create compelling written and visual content about computer hardware, components, and accessories (e.g., laptops, desktops, motherboards, CPUs, GPUs, RAM, SSDs, etc.).
- Produce product reviews, comparisons, tutorials, unboxing videos, and tech explainers.
- Research and stay up-to-date with the latest hardware trends, innovations, and market developments.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop content that supports promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Optimize all digital content for SEO and user engagement.
- Develop content for websites, blogs, YouTube, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Take high-quality product photos and assist in video production or editing.
- Analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach and engagement.
- Ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and technical correctness across all published materials.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and related technologies.
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Experience in content creation, blogging, or video production (tech-related content preferred).
- Proficiency in basic photo/video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Canva).
- SEO knowledge and familiarity with social media algorithms.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience as a tech content creator, reviewer, or influencer.
- Understanding of online sales or e-commerce (e.g., PCPlaceNG, Jumia, Konga, or Amazon).
- Basic technical skills in assembling or troubleshooting computer hardware.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time / Hybrid (depending on company policy).
- May require occasional travel for tech events, product launches, or field content shoots.
