Job Description
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Communications Officer to join our dynamic team.
- As a key member of the Corporate Communications team, you will assist in managing internal and external communications that align with the company’s objectives, enhance its reputation, and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and distributing internal communications such as newsletters, emails, and announcements.
- Help create and manage content for the company intranet and internal platforms.
- Support in organizing and coordinating employee events, webinars, and company-wide meetings
- Assist in writing and editing press releases, blogs, articles, and other content for media and online channels.
- Help manage the company’s social media presence (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), ensuring content is up-to-date and aligned with corporate messaging.
- Collaborate with the public relations team to monitor media coverage and identify opportunities for press engagements.
- Assist in maintaining consistent branding and messaging across all company communication channels.
- Support the development of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and reports.
- Provide support during times of crisis by preparing key messages, Q&A, and assisting with communication strategy.
- Help with media monitoring and reporting on communications activities and campaign effectiveness.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing competitor communications and industry trends.
- Support the organization of events, conferences, and webinars, including logistics, speaker coordination, and promotional materials.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- HND / Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or marketing
- Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
- Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of media relations and branding is an advantage.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A keen interest in financial services and corporate communications.
