Description
- The Corporate Social Responsibility Officer is to work with the Group Executive Director HR & Corporate Services for the creation and implementation of the organization’s social responsibility objectives as well as designing and developing the strategies that support ipNX’s CSR goals.
- The CSR Officer would be involved in researching, generating ideas, formulating policies, constructing comprehensive plans, establishing links with partner organizations, and implementing, managing, and overseeing a variety of activities and projects aimed at improving the environment and local communities.
- The officer will also manage CSR budgets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the design and execution of CSR strategies and programs aligned with the company’s goals.
- Identify and develop new CSR opportunities and partnerships.
- Assist in coordinating CSR events and initiatives, including community outreach programs.
- Communicate the company’s CSR objectives and policies internally and externally.
- Build and maintain relationships with partner organizations, public institutions, and community leaders.
- Write and edit communications, including presentations, scripts, articles, and reports.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to create awareness of CSR initiatives.
- Staying abreast of relevant research and trends in the areas of focus and promoting best practices.
- Develop and manage the CSR budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of funds.
- Monitor project expenses and prepare financial reports related to CSR initiatives.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations and Business Administration, or social sciences. (2.1/ Upper Credit Minimum)
- 2–3 years of experience in CSR, community development, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience working with public institutions, NGOs, or government agencies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with CSR trends, standards, and frameworks (e.g., SDGs).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
