Creative Content Designer at Hive HR

About the Role

  • We’re looking for a highly creative, multi-skilled Content Designer to support our graphics, content, and social media teams with bold, engaging visual assets.
  • This is not a traditional graphic design role - it’s a hybrid for someone who’s fluent in Canva, confident in Adobe Creative Suite, and obsessed with creating content that pops across formats - static, motion, and video.
  • You’ll be responsible for turning raw ideas into polished visual stories - from animated Instagram carousels to short-form video edits, branded decks, interactive content, and more.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Design:

  • Design visually compelling social graphics, campaign assets, decks, templates, and event visuals.
  • Work confidently in Canva and Adobe tools to create content that’s brand-aligned, engaging, and on-trend.
  • Support the graphics team in resizing, repurposing, and adapting visual assets for multiple platforms.

Video Production & Editing:

  • Maintain visual consistency across projects by adhering to brand guidelines and creative direction.
  • Edit short & long-form videos, reels, TikToks, and motion graphics for digital and social platforms.
  • Collaborate on basic storyboarding, cuts, transitions, subtitles, and video structure.
  • Add motion elements, music, pacing, and polish to make content dynamic and memorable.

Creative Storytelling & Brand Alignment:

  • Translate creative briefs into scroll-worthy content and social-first visuals.
  • Help maintain a consistent brand tone across all formats (visual, motion, video).
  • Support marketing campaigns with strong content ideas and flexible design execution.

Collaboration & Execution:

  • Work cross-functionally with creative, content, marketing, and social teams to deliver assets on time.
  • Receive and apply feedback quickly, maintaining design quality and brand standards.
  • Manage multiple content design projects simultaneously while staying organized.

Innovation & Trendspotting:

  • Research and apply the latest social media, design, and video trends.
  • Suggest new formats (e.g., carousels, cinemagraphs, animated GIFs) and experiment with emerging tools•
  • Be a creative voice on how to keep Atinudah’s content relevant and resonant.

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years of content design or multimedia design experience (internship, freelance, studio, or personal brand work)
  • Strong portfolio showing versatility in static graphics, social content, decks, video, and motion.

Proficiency in:

  • Canva (required – very proficient)
  • Adobe Creative Suite – especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and either Premiere Pro or After Effects
  • Experience with CapCut, Final Cut, or other short-form video tools
  • A strong sense of visual hierarchy, brand alignment, typography, and content pacing.
  • Experience designing content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, or YouTube Shorts
  • Attention to detail and an ability to creatively adapt content to different formats and dimensions.
  • Excellent communication and file organization skills in a remote-first environment.
  • A proactive, curious, and self-managed attitude, you don’t wait for inspiration or instructions.

Bonus If You Bring:

  • Motion graphics skills in After Effects or equivalent
  • Experience designing content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, or YouTube Shorts
  • Basic photography or mobile content creation skills
  • Familiarity with influencer content formats and branded storytelling
  • Exposure to event branding or activation design (banners, backdrops, digital signage).
