JOB SUMMARY
- As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing business data to inform strategies, optimize operations, and identify growth opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Senior Data Analyst:
- Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining,and data cleansing.
- Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising infrastructure and reporting requirements.
- Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software while assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
- Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
- Managing database records including creation, updates while creating best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
- Build, design, deploy, maintain and lead the implementation of Cloud solutions across multiple public cloud offerings, e.g. AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure
- Lead the analysis of large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain advanced data models, dashboards, and reports to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their goals and provide data-driven solutions to address them.
- Provide expert analysis, including forecasting, predictive modeling, and scenario planning.
- Mentor and guide junior data analysts, providing technical support and training on best practices.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of data used for analysis and decision-making.
- Conduct thorough data validation and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Present key insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
- Automate and streamline data reporting processes to improve efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging tools to enhance data analysis capabilities.
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and other data analysis tools.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Extensive experience with statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and perform advanced data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings in a clear, accessible manner.
Skills and Competencies:
- Advanced knowledge of database management and querying techniques.
- Expertise in building and automating reports and dashboards.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of data analysts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience with data governance and data privacy best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and data engineering concepts
