He has more than a decade work experiences that span across some leading law firms as Practice Development Manager. At Fine and Country International (West Africa) he was the Head of Operations and Strategy. For the years spent at Fine and Country, he developed; Sales, Marketing, HR Structures and Policies, Business model and Operational Processes. Mr. Iyemifokhae has attended series of local (Lagos Business School) and International trainings. He is a talented Strategist with multitasking abilities.

Job Summary

  • Data Analysts would work closely with our internal stakeholders to understand analytics needs, independently solve problems and communicate complex analyses with ease.
  • To develop smart strategy recommendations, based on the data trends and act as a thought partner and domain expert on data, forming recommendations and driving decision-making at Playhouse Communication.

Main Areas of Responsibility

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data from various sources such as websites, social media, advertising platforms, and CRM systems. Use tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or other marketing analytics software to track and interpret metrics.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports and presentations that summarize key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and insights to share with internal teams and clients. This could involve creating dashboards or visualizations to communicate data effectively.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in marketing campaigns by analyzing data and providing recommendations to optimize strategies for better ROI. This might involve A/B testing, segmentation analysis, or performance forecasting.
  • Market Research and Audience Analysis: Conduct research to understand the target audience, market trends, and competitors. Use data insights to help shape marketing strategies and target the right demographics effectively.
  • Campaign Evaluation: Assess the success of digital marketing campaigns, identifying what worked well and what didn't. Provide actionable insights to refine future campaigns.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data by performing regular checks and audits. Implement best practices for data collection and storage.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with different teams such as marketing, sales, and IT to gather data requirements, share insights, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Technical Skills: Possess proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL, Excel, Python, R, or statistical software. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio is often beneficial.
  • Communication Skills: Translate complex data findings into understandable insights for non-technical team members or clients. Effective communication of data-driven recommendations is crucial.
  • Adaptability and Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, new tools, and methodologies related to data analysis and digital marketing. Adapt to changing technology and platforms.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience with data analytics or another related field.
  • Well-versed in SQL languages. Experience with big data frameworks preferred.
  • High level of experience working with analytical software
  • Experience working with presentation software
  • Experience in digital strategies and logistics
  • Experience in new and social media outlets.

Key Skills:

  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.
  • Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net.
  • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create dashboards.
  • Knowledge of statistical principles
  • Intimately understand digital marketing skill channels.
  • Use of data aggregation tools required
  • Use of web analytics tools required.
  • Ability to generate insights from data is key
  • SQL knowledge advantageous
  • Data API development advantageous
  • Required to structure data for storytelling (infographics)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to convey complex findings in a clear, concise and credible manner.
