About the Role
- We are seeking to employ a Data Entry Assistant who will be responsible for accurately maintaining and preserving all inventory records, both digital and physical, as instructed by the supervisor.
Duties and responsibilities
- Maintain and Preserve ALL inventory records, both soft and hard copies as directed by the supervisor
- Organize records Alphabetically and Chronologically for future reference
- Assist dispatch assistants in the paperwork generation process, to expedite service to customer
- Guide dispatch assistants, and other inventory employees on good record keeping.
- Any other responsibilities may be assigned by the Materials Controller. Shipping Co-ordinator and other members of BURN management.
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in data entry, inventory management, or a similar role.
- Experience in organizing and maintaining both physical and digital records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and database systems.
- Basic understanding of record-keeping and filing systems.
