  • We're looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer (6-8 years’ experience) to join our dynamic team. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the scalability and reliability of our SaaS platform, managing servers across regions and providers.
  • Your focus will be on enhancing collaboration among engineering, product, security, and operations teams, streamlining software delivery processes.
  • Through implementing DevOps best practices and leveraging data analysis, you'll refine processes for improved efficiency, cost optimization, and enhanced reliability in software delivery. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure components across diverse servers and cloud providers, adhering to the company best practices for security, reliability, and performance.
  • Strategize and implement server management approaches across different regions, ensuring optimal performance and redundancy.
  • Proactively monitor server health and address issues related to resource utilization.
  • Develop and implement SaaS cost modeling strategies, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining high performance and reliability standards.
  • Spearhead the implementation and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
  • Automate testing, deployment, and rollback processes in alignment with company efficiency standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish metrics aligned with customer-centric goals, employing the company "Working Backwards" approach.
  • Utilize SMART metrics to measure the impact of DevOps initiatives on customer experience and platform performance.
  • Serve as a bar raiser in the hiring process, ensuring that new hires meet or exceed the performance standards set by the company.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of hiring processes, incorporating effective technical assessments and interviews.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any IT-related field.
  • Experience working in a Fintech or marketplace environment.
  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.
  • Extensive experience in managing infrastructure on multiple cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong expertise in automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).
  • Proven experience in implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of Spinnaker is a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java.
  • Configuration and management of databases such as MySQL and Mongo.
  • Working knowledge of Linux-based infrastructure.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in SaaS cost modeling, resource allocation, and optimization.
  • Ability to analyze cost implications of infrastructure and architecture decisions.
  • Experience defining and implementing performance metrics aligned with customer satisfaction and business goals.
  • Utilize SMART metrics to measure the success and impact of DevOps initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Willingness to share knowledge and mentor team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to raise the bar in technical excellence and team collaboration.
  • Proven track record of contributing to a high-performance work culture.
