Job Summary

  • The Digital Communications and Growth Manager will lead organization’s digital storytelling, content strategy, and digital marketing initiatives to amplify the organization's mission and impact. 
  • This role involves creating and managing compelling content across various digital platforms, enhancing audience engagement, executing digital marketing campaigns, and ensuring consistent brand messaging. 
  • The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, creative, and possesses a strong understanding of digital media trends, marketing strategies, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital communications and marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage the organization's digital presence, including the website, social media platforms, and email newsletters.
  • Monitor and analyze digital metrics to optimize content performance and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all digital channels.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Create, edit, and publish high-quality content (articles, blog posts, videos, infographics) that resonates with audience.
  • Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery across all digital channels.
  • Collaborate with program teams to gather stories and information for content development.

Social Media Management:

  • Oversee the organization's social media accounts, including content planning, posting, and community engagement.
  • Develop and implement social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and support fundraising and advocacy efforts.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to enhance organization’s online presence.

Email Marketing:

  • Design and distribute email newsletters and campaigns to engage supporters and stakeholders.
  • Segment email lists and personalize content to improve open and click-through rates.
  • Analyze email campaign performance and implement improvements based on data insights.

Digital Marketing:

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, display advertising, and social media advertising.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance, measure ROI, and inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate with external vendors or agencies as needed to support digital marketing efforts.

Brand Consistency and Compliance:

  • Ensure all digital content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, style, and visual elements across all digital platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with digital accessibility standards and data protection regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital communications, content creation, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress), email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp), and social media platforms.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage.
  • Ability to analyze digital metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Passion for women's empowerment, democracy, and good governance.

Work Conditions:

  • Hybrid role (combination of remote and in-office work).

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 monthly.
