The Role:
- We are looking for a Digital Marketer to grow the products and lead marketing efforts in this exciting market, participate in the development of launch campaigns and manage online presence, with day to day marketing of the platforms.
Job Description:
- The Digital Marketer will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to build brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and increase user engagement in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, a deep understanding of the Nigerian Finance and Consumer landscape, and all her products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a localized marketing strategy to position our brand effectively in the Nigerian market
- Design creatives and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including social media, email, content marketing
- Create and manage a marketing calendar to align with key events, holiday events, country trends, sports seasons, and promotional opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong brand presence across all customer touchpoints
- Ensure brand consistency in all marketing communications and materials
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and retain existing ones, focusing on cost-effective channels
- Collaborate with the product and customer service teams to enhance the user experience and increase customer loyalty
- Partnerships & Collaborations by identifying and establishing partnerships with local influencers, sports organizations, media outlets, and other relevant entities to enhance brand visibility
- Negotiate and manage sponsorship deals and promotional partnerships
- Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, competitor activities, and emerging trends in the Nigerian market
- Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns and improve ROI
- Team Management (optional): recruit, train, and manage a local marketing team
- Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to ensure team success
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a digital marketing, or marketing role in finance industry or related sectors
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns in Nigeria
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and content marketing
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed marketing decisions
- Creativity and innovation in developing unique marketing strategies and campaigns
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of local languages is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (relevant certifications e.g., Digital Marketing is a plus)
