Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Associate with a solid background in S.E.O and paid campaigns across digital media to join our dynamic marketing team at Vendease. As a key member, you will be responsible for driving organic and paid search traffic to our platform, optimising our website's technical infrastructure, and implementing strategies to enhance our online visibility and conversion rates.

Job Details

  • SEO Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase targeted traffic to the Vendease platform.
    • Perform in-depth keyword research to identify valuable search terms and optimise content for these keywords.
    • Optimise on-page elements like metadata, headers, and images to boost search visibility and user engagement.
    • Conduct regular technical SEO audits to ensure optimal website performance and compliance with SEO best practices.
  • Analytics and Performance Monitoring:
    • Utilise tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to monitor and analyse website performance metrics.
    • Track and report on SERP rankings, Domain Authority, and other key SEO metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • SEM and PPC Campaign Management:
    • Design and manage SEM campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and Bing Ads to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
    • Monitor campaign performance, adjust bids, and refine targeting strategies to optimise spending and maximise ROI.
    • Develop retargeting strategies to engage previous visitors and convert them into customers.
  • Collaboration and Cross-functional Integration:
    • Work closely with product, sales, and content teams to integrate SEO and SEM best practices into the broader marketing and development efforts.
    • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure marketing strategies are tailored to local markets and cultural nuances.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
    • Develop comprehensive digital marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across channels and initiatives.
    • Monitor financial performance against budgets and adjust strategies to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Innovative Campaign Development:
    • Initiate creative digital marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement across all operational regions.
    • Implement UTM parameters for tracking the effectiveness of different marketing channels and campaigns.

Requirements

Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, particularly with SaaS products and in sectors similar to our industry.
  • Expertise in SEO and PPC, including technical SEO aspects like website optimization, keyword research, and SEO auditing.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, and SEM platforms like Google Ads and Bing Ads.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, understand search engine algorithms, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience in content marketing and social media marketing, with a capability to track SERP rankings and optimise content for improved visibility.

Cultural and Market Understanding:

  • In-depth knowledge of consumer behaviour and digital usage patterns in Nigeria, Ghana, and potentially the MENA region.
  • Ability to adapt strategies to fit cultural nuances and regional preferences.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, AdWords, or other relevant digital marketing tools are must haves.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration capabilities, able to manage relationships with stakeholders and work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Adaptability and Innovation:

  • Creativity in developing unique marketing strategies that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Capacity to handle rapid changes in the digital landscape.

Leadership Qualities:
