The vision of Livestock247.com is to mitigate the spread of zoonotic diseases through the provision of fit-for-slaughter and traceable livestock to our customers.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales and Marketing to develop and deploy the Livestock 247 annual digital marketing plan.
  • Ensure to propose innovative digital marketing campaigns in alignment with Livestock 247 overarching marketing strategy “To mitigate the spread of zoonotic diseases through the provision of fit-for-slaughter”.
  • Collaborate with the graphic designer on creatives in alignment with Livestock247's business goals;
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news) to increase engagement and enhance Livestock247 online brand
  • Ensure the monitoring of Search Engine Optimization, periodic review of the website and web traffic metrics
  • Maintain data analytics to monitor current benchmark trends and audience preferences;
  • Ensure communication with followers and queries are responded to swiftly
  • Monitor and Report customer’s reviews on all platforms
  • Participate in exhibitions and all other physical marketing activities.
  • Propose for implementation of new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions, competitions e.t.c
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements for the Role

  • Candidates should possess B.Sc. Degrees with 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Good written, verbal communication and analytical skills
  • Proofreading and editorial skills with a good eye for detail
  • Knowledge of effective social media techniques
  • Tech Savvy with knowledge of software such as Adobe Creative Suite, CRM, etc
  • Experience in writing engaging content for Organizations
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and brand management.
