Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Digital Marketing, Social Media, and Content Strategist to manage our digital presence and ensure consistent brand communication across all platforms.
  • The ideal candidate will focus on social media marketing, SEO, content creation, graphics design, video production, and overall online account management to drive engagement and promote PLLI’s programs and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing and Social Media Management

  • Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences, analyze customer behavior and industry data to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and manage digital marketing strategies across platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Create a content calendar for consistent and timely posting, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and brand voice.
  • Drive social media engagement, growth, and interactions by increasing followers, likes, shares, and audience engagement through organic and paid campaigns.
  • Manage online advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads) to promote events, courses, and programs.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Perform ongoing keyword research to optimize PLLI’s website and social media content for search engines.
  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase web traffic, ensuring that PLLI ranks higher on search engine result pages (SERPs).
  • Use analytics tools to monitor site performance, suggest improvements, and implement changes based on data-driven insights.

Content Creation and Strategy Development

  • Develop a content strategy that aligns with PLLI’s brand, ensuring content is compelling, informative, and tailored to our audience.
  • Produce engaging multimedia content including blog posts, articles, videos, and graphics to showcase our programs, impact stories, and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure content meets all strategic goals, including conversions and lead generation.

Graphics Design and Video Production

  • Create eye-catching designs for social media posts, brochures, promotional materials, and website graphics using design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CorelDraw).
  • Produce high-quality videos, from conceptualization to final editing, for use on social media, the website, and other platforms to highlight PLLI’s initiatives, courses, and events.
  • Ensure consistency in visuals, fonts, and color schemes to align with PLLI's brand guidelines.

Account Management and Analytics

  • Oversee the management of all PLLI’s digital platforms, ensuring up-to-date and accurate content, while maintaining an active online presence.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of social media campaigns and content across platforms using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or other social media management software.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on digital performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven strategies to boost engagement and reach.

Event Coverage and Digital Storytelling

  • Capture and produce digital content (videos, social media clips, photography) for live events, webinars, and conferences, to engage online audiences.
  • Develop compelling narratives around key moments and success stories that highlight PLLI’s impact and achievements.

Collaborations and Partnerships

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to develop joint digital marketing campaigns that enhance PLLI’s visibility and reach.
  • Manage digital aspects of partnerships and collaborations with other educational and leadership institutions to promote PLLI’s offerings and joint initiatives.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, social media management, content creation preferably within the EdTech space.
  • Proven ability to create and execute digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, with measurable success in increasing engagement and conversions.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Moz), and content management systems (CMS).
  • Strong skills in graphics design and video production/editing using Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment and adapt to evolving digital trends.

Key Measures of Success

Digital Engagement

  • Achieve a 20% increase in social media followers and engagement (likes, shares, comments) across all platforms.
  • Improve website traffic and search engine rankings through effective SEO strategies.

Content Production

  • Produce a minimum of 10 high-quality content pieces (blogs, videos, graphics) monthly that resonate with our target audience.
  • Consistently release digital content according to the content calendar, with no major delays.

Campaign Performance

  • Drive successful digital campaigns with measurable growth in lead generation and conversions for programs and courses.
  • Ensure 95% adherence to content calendar, while making adjustments based on performance analytics.

Collaborations and Partnerships

  • Launch at least 2 successful collaboration campaigns with external partners or institutions annually.
