Personal Trust Microfinance Bank is a microfinance bank operating in Lagos, Nigeria. The Bank was licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria to operate as a state microfinance bank in year 2014. Formerly known as Personal Trust Savings and Loans, it was first registered in 1993 and operated as a mortgage bank until its conversion in 2014. Following the enabling framework by the Central Bank of Nigeria in respect of microfinance banks, the Bank’s parent company First Ally Capital Limited acquired the extant mortgage bank and converted it into a microfinance bank in October 2014 with a share capital of about N632 million. Accordingly, Personal Trust Microfinance commenced its business of catering to the unbanked and underbanked public. The focus of the Bank is provision of microfinance services to individuals, small and medium scale enterprises. Ultimately, the objective is to grow the Bank to a National Microfinance Bank. The Bank engages broadly in the provision of Savings Products, Loan products and Tailored products based on the need of its customers. During our over twenty-one years of operation, we recorded several achievements including the financing of Ojora Shopping Complex and development of Lake View Housing Estate in Amuwo Odofin.

Job Description

  • The E-business Officer is responsible for the alignment of e-business strategies with the short and long terms goals of the bank.
  • The job holder ensures the support and growth of e-products and services in order to achieve the digital transformation vision of the bank.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Increase the profitability of e-business by achieving e-business budget.
  • Assist the Head of E-business on project implementation within budget and set time frames.
  • Comply with operating manuals / procedures for e-products operations.
  • Comply with strategies to increase the bank’s market share by growing the number of active users of e-business solutions.
  • Manage each channel as a business, focusing on service delivery income streams and costs Manages all self-service channels including websites, applications, software’s etc.
  • Supervise Cards, and mobile money operations of the bank.
  • Ensure customers’ disputes/claims regarding e-channel transactions are resolved within TATs.
  • Ensure reconciliation of ledgers and settlement of transactions.
  • Ensures fees due to the bank are received from third parties as and when due.
  • Provides user support for the core banking and alternative banking channels.
  • Implement security measures to protect systems and infrastructure.
  • Report all suspicious or fraudulent activities to Compliance.
  • Flexibility to carry out any other task as requested by Management.

Qualifications

  • HND/BSc/ in IT or Computer Science
  • Evidence of completion/ exemption of/from NYSC
  • Evidence of completion of Microfinance Certification program.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in IT and e-commerce in a bank.
